Amba Mata Temple in Gujarat

The temple is dedicated to Devi Amba, also known as Devi Durga. The murti in this temple has been worshipped for many ages, and it is said it has been worshipped since the Vedic ages. The temple is located near the search of the Saraswatiriver and at the southwestern corner of the Aravali mountain range.

As per a recent study, Ambaji Temple was constructed by the Suriyavans Emperor ArunSen, the ruler of Vallabhi, in the 4th Century AD.
