The derasar is a beautiful structure made out of white marble and decorated with intricate carvings. The derasar is open to the public from morning until evening and is a popular tourist attraction in the city. The Vasupujyaswami Jain Derasar is a place of worship and pilgrimage for Jain devotees. The derasar contains a number of shrines dedicated to various Jain saints. The main shrine is dedicated to Vasupujya and is surrounded by a number of smaller shrines.
